We, the Maryland
Association of Youth Services Bureaus, Inc., promote innovative,
effective, community based prevention approaches that best meet the
needs of children and families and which result in positive
outcomes. We advocate for prevention and early intervention
programs and treatment services for children, youth, and families,
throughout a statewide network of Youth Services Bureaus. We are
dedicated to serving as a positive force in improving the lives and
well being of children in the State of Maryland. |

MAYSB strives to
(1) maximize the potential of youth and families by advocating for,
providing, and supporting high quality counseling, educational, and
outreach services, and (2) identify and promote physical and social
conditions that provide opportunities for positive growth and
healthy maturation for Maryland’s children, youth, and families. |
